Horde News Archive

December 4 2006
The weather has turned mighty cold here in the upper Midwest; snow is here for the long winter. While this may limit some Morton’s List quests, try and make the most out of it all. Over the winter The Horde will be bringing to you various assortments of freshness to help get you through the long dark winter. The first installment of this freshness will start today with a featured musical artist S.O.S. (Shades of Sorrow) with several devastating songs for your ear holes. What we are trying to do is to expand your musical tastes and give props to such up and coming artists. If you are in a band or know of a kickin’ band feel free to submit some stylings and information; we will post it up here for all to hear. In the near future we are hoping to have a special musical episode of The Horde Show dedicated such bands that will be featured here on The Horde. This is just something that we are going to try and see how it works out. So let’s get to it…

S.O.S. is a band out of Milwaukee that was introduced to me about a year ago; I have seen a number of their shows and really enjoy the music. My good friend Eric Grabow is their bass player and the one who introduced me to the sounds of S.O.S. Check out their website here for more information about the band. Below are seven songs from the band, the first three songs are off their first release in which I was given a very rare cut of the release titled ‘Symptoms of Syphilis’, really just a good play on words, but the music is rocking. The last four songs are off their new release ‘Another Day’. Click on the links below to hear the music or right click and save it to your computer. So sit back, relax and enjoy the tunes:

1. Trauma
2. Happy
3. When Tomorrow Comes
4. Illusions
5. Another Day
6. I Need You
7. Blue

We do hope that you enjoy the sounds of S.O.S. and be sure to check out their website as well.

The Horde Show Episode 3 is still in production and seems to be on schedule for release later this holiday season. If you want to see all of The Horde Show’s released thus far be sure to check out The Archives. You can download the Episodes or watch them on-line in QuickTime. There are plans for another three episodes over the next few months. We hope you are looking forward to watching them as we are always improving the formats and have lots of Morton’s List footage to share with the World.

That is all that we have for you today, be sure to keep checking back for other bits of random freshness and Morton’s List news.
Peace, Karma and MLL…
