The Horde would like to present you with a special invitation to attend a historic event called The Horde Cruise. In the year 2009, The Horde is planning a Morton's List event that will take place on a cruise ship. It will be a Horde event/vacation that will not only let you experience Morton's List but also experience exotic locations. The Horde is trying to take Morton's List to the next level - to do this we are planning on going to never before places with those who have the skills to make this a ground-breaking event. This event is geared for a maximum of eight people, and is open to all Listers who are considered high level. Those who choose to attend will form a new Inner Circle that will plan to travel again in the future. The Horde realizes that not everyone will be able to attend, or may not want to attend, however; this offer is open to the first eight individuals that respond. At this point we have three openings left. Those that have committed to the event so far are as follows:

Ty
Bubz
ouija
Monica
Thug Jesus

This means that we have three slots remaining for this event. The destination is still unknown, as is the date - most things will be left up to random chance but we will have the date and place set once we have a complete listing of those that will attend. Here is how it will work...

1. If you think you can have the funds to make this trip by March 2009, say $1K per person, respond ASAP. The money is not for us, but to book your ticket on the cruise, your flight to port, along with other stuff you may buy. Please note this is just a guess, it could cost much less or much more depending upon where you live, and where we go. We are going to try and pick a cruise that is less than $500, and one that lasts 4 or 5 days/nights. Many cruises have cabins as low as $250.

2. Once we have all interested parties we will determine a time that will work out best for all of us, between late spring and early fall (prices are the best at this time) in 2009. From there, we will find out where none of us have been (thinking Caribbean area or Mexico area) and choose a cruise that will get us there. We hope to have this decided by the end of September 2008.

3. The event itself is free, you just have to show up and pay for your travel costs (Plane, rent a car, cruise, other). Many cruises will cover your drinks and food, additional costs are all out of pocket expenses. However, you will be given an official Horde Event shirt along with other goodies to satisfy your greedy needs and share this wonderful experience with fellow Listers. You will also be given the opportunity to purchase official ML gear/goods at this event.

4. Much of this event will be based on randomness. There will not be much planning aside from picking a destination and a cruise line to take. From there we will roll and let random reality be our guide. You may want more details but this is a random event and too much planning will take the fun and adventure out of the event. Our first goal is to see who is willing to take such a journey.

5. The Horde wants people who have rolled before and can bring mad skills to the table to attend this event. So far we have 5 Listers attending and are looking for 3 more to come join us for this event.

This sums up The Horde Cruise 2010. It will be very random and can happen almost at any time in 2009 aside for the times around Karma City 2009 and The Juggalo Gathering 2009. If you think that you can make it any time in 2009 please let us know ASAP because the next three people to respond will be marked down for this event and the invitation will be closed. Once we have all interested parties we will all come up with a time and place that will work for all of us. If you choose to respond we will consider you as willing and able to attend this event barring any unforeseen events in your life. The time and places are flexible so you only have to be willing to agree to the 5 terms listed above. If you have any questions or want to be marked down for this please email me (ouija).

To celebrate the upcoming birthday of Morton's List on July 13, 2008 The Horde is once again hosting a Horde On-line Quest (HOQ). The details are as follows:

What: HOQ #6

When: July 13, 2008 4:00 PM

Meetup Description: On the 195th day of the year 2008 a HOQ has been set to happen on July, the 13th pm 4:00 pm CST/ 5:00 pm EST/ 10:00 GMT(UTC) . The place to be at 4:00 pm CST/ 5:00 pm EST will be the following link:
The Horde Chat

Click on the above link and then go into the Chat Room link. A log in screen will come up and you can make up your own user name and profile if needed, but is not required. You will be taken into the chat room. Please remember to keep the chat room screen open otherwise it will kick you out of the room and you will have to do it again. I even suggest you just take a look at it before the event so you know what it is like and are sure you have the correct Java scripts installed. Web cams are not supported on this link, but if you have one and are using Yahoo! or MSN or something we can also log into that was well if you so desire.

The first roll will occur just after the hour to make sure everyone has time to get settled in and a lil bit of BS.

HOQ is very much an honor system and we will roll for 1 TM and trust that they do it truthfully. Then we will all partake in that one quest. We are up for multi quests on this day, so keep that in mind but if you can only make the first one that is cool.

Also feel free to read the HOQ page to give you a good idea of how it works and such and maybe even check out the examples I have posted. Everything that goes down is logged and the entire transcript will be posted that evening. Hit me up if you have any questions and I hope you can make it!

Karma to to the Global Inner Circle!

Update, after update, after update. We have gone update crazy here at The Horde, but hey, we have news to share with Listylvannia. It does seem that Spring/Summer could be considered a Morton's List 'season' if you will. Regardless if you agree or not, that is not what this post is about, but rather to drop a rumor. You will notice that currently the only public page on this webiste that has event banners would be this page. If you visited us in the past few days you will notice a new banner with a ? over the photo. In the upcoming days and weeks more and more information will be reviled on this upcoming Horde Event. That is all I will give you for now, but you can also check your in-boxes and/or ask somebody and you might hear more about the event. Keep coming back and learn more as we drop more and more info.

After reviewing The Horde Collection, it has been determined that The Horde has had a representative at every Karmic Gathering. To all Inner Circles out there we say man the fuck up. Get out to these Karmic Gatherings and show your Karma. Plan at being in Karma City in 2009 and give our invitations a serious thought.

The Horde has been working on some top secret missions and it is highly suggested that you check your in-boxes and return to The Horde for upcoming announcements. There is a bomb ass event in the works and you best pay attention my friends! Keep your eyeballs peered here within two weeks and all will be revealed.
Now for some very rare freshness, I give to you a bit from our newest Horde member Monica:
In comparison to ouija, one of the main Listers among Listers, I admit I'm still a novice. Having said that, I want to send much Karma love to those who have welcomed me into their inner circles and allowed me to experience how other Listers roll. One of the main random realities I've learned is that every inner circle created brings with it it's own style of interpreting a quest. What fascinates me most is how a quest rolled is defined by those playing. For instance, a quest which may seem irreverent or illogical at the time is often transformed into the most memorable quest because the inner circle is forced to step outside of themselves and redefine the quest to make it their own and truly allow randomness to guide them in the path of completing the quest at hand. In addition, I want to stress to you to truly consider the upcoming invitation that will be sent to an elite circle of players (although exclusivity is not our overall style) to our event because we at The Horde believe the event will be one that will be remembered as unprecedented and unforgettable. So, begin planning and be sure to pack your die!
There is a very rare post from another Horde member. In the future look for more from Monica as I am sick of writing everything.
Keep that rock moving and be random.

Summer is here as of yesterday, Listers are still coming off the Karmic High from AlasKarma, and the upcoming rumors of Karma City 2009 are flowing fast. I have seen a few images and posts from AlasKarma around the forums so be sure to check them out, especially if you missed the event. Today The Horde is mailing out some Morton's List packages to a few ninjas in Alaska, so be on the look out for that if we talked about ML gear.
Many people all across Listylvannia are starting to talk and plan for Karma City (Kansas City) 2009. While we have no official news on the event we can expect it to happen at the end of September 2009 so that it will be the first Karmic Gathering held on the 30th of a month. It is also suggested by the Twilight Lords at AlasKarma that there would be a change to Karmic Gatherings as we know it in 2009. Now whether Karma City 2009 is the end of the current Karmic Gathering ear or a new beginning to Karmic Gatherings as we know it has yet to be reviled. If this is the last 'staged' event you MUST attend, if it is the first of its kind, pay attention to when tickets go on sale. Please note none of this information can be confirmed or denied, but rather just rumors that I have heard and tips I have deduced from said rumors.
30 Days of Karma (DoK) is currently under way and many are already deep in to the quest. Keep your eye on the GIC meetup boards for the lowdown of that quest once it is over.
A new HOQ will soon be posted for July 13th 2008. Hope everyone can make it to celebrate the birthday of Morton's List. Speaking of birthdays The Horde's website is now over 5 years old. We got to celebrate our anniversary at AlasKarma and that is when we handed out our DVD's called The Horde Collection. We want to thank everyone for visiting us over the past 5 years and a big think you to all those who have contributed to the website in all ways.
In some underground news there are many whispers all across the country to hidden or secret Inner Circles. If you are part of one of these The Horde salutes you. While most Inner Circles are all about going public, we have to acknowledge the underground circles and show our love. You may never actually know if there is a secret Inner Circle in your state, city, or current Inner Circle, but show them some love all the same.
That is it from us today; keep that boulder rolling and you Karma High.

Below is a picture of the lower 48ers that attended AlasKarma and our host Big Cheddar! Thank you to Thug Jesus for the picture, I took it from his MySpace account, seeing as we did not have our camera because United lost my luggage. I love rationalizing stuff.

June 18, 2008 part 1
The earth-shattering event that was Alaskarma has now drawn to a close, but will forever live in the minds of those who attended. The Horde really wanted to get a post up here prior to our departure to Alaska, however time was not on our side so we had to fore go the post. However I tell you now that over the next few hours and days, news of Alaskarma will be posted. At this time there are no photos of the event, but later tonight some will be posted. Also be on the look out for a more personal view of the trip from ouija's POV on his blog.
First let us start out by thanking each and every one of the individuals that attended Alaskarma, without yall it would not have been possible, people are first and foremost when it comes to a Gathering. I also want to deeply and truly thank DJ, Critter, Details, Big Cheddar, Ambre, Leah and everyone else, you know who you are, for all your hospitableness and helpfulness; without yall this could have been a headache of a trip, but instead it was the time of our lives.
If you have never been to Alaska it is really hard to put into words but let me try to set the scene for you, you are surrounded by mountains 360°, they are pushing though the clouds so you cannot see the peaks. There is a bit of snow still covering parts of the mountains, it blends in with a clouds because the mountains are so massive. The trees around you stand tall and true, but are really minimized by the vast mountains in the background. You can hear a pin drop, there is not an unnatural sound to be heard, no highways filled with cars honking, no contractors erecting giant structures, no neighbors yelling about the position of the toilet seat to their partners. It is beyond tranquil and peaceful, it is blissful. Even with the threat of rain in hovering in the air, you are calm and want to be no where else in the world. Breathe in the air, it is pure, non-polluted, you smell the pines, the wild flowers, the occasional mosquito that you sniff up, it is wonderful. But really the mosquitoes are everywhere in the back country; they outnumbered people - one trillion to one - just thick in the air. But we did not let those little pests ruin our time; we doused our selves in a 98.11% Deet product and schooled Alaska on Morton's List. When we broke out the List, the animals were watching, domestic dogs wanted to join in, the mosquitoes flew away by the power of our Karma, hell even the sun came out to bless us on our quests.
Alaskarma was a Gathering of people from all around the US, while most hailed from the Alaska wilderness; we flew in from Chicago, yet others from Miami, New York, and Detroit. On Wednesday and Thursday morning, us from out of town and the hosts, chilled and enjoyed each others company. Thursday afternoon we set off to work on the event grounds and be sure things were prepared. Late Thursday night we returned and enjoyed stories of the day.
Friday morning, as some (Twilight Lords perhaps?) got up for special secrete tactic, the rest ventured into the wilderness for a hike in Hatchers Pass. It was really the first official event of the weekend led by Chris "Critter", followed by Leatherface, Thug Jesus, Monica, and ouija. It was a pretty far hike to Hatchers Pass and the Crystal Lake but what a view the whole way. Thug Jesus schooled everyone in the grand game of Bejengo (sp?), he tired to use his rain suit as a sled, and made a snow toilet that he upper decked, with the help of Leatherface. Two ravens were spotted on the hike, and we learned that Alaska does not have crows... Hope no one rolls the Crow-pocalypse in this state. We ended up climbing to a height of 3,880 some odd feet. A good hike/drive indeed and well worth it once you see the beauty from that height.
Friday night was filled with drinking and a game of Morton's List that disrupted a few. But from the wreckage came a wonderful game named 'Can You Handle It'. It is like truth or dare, but without the truth part. Say you are given 3 teams of 2 meaning 6 people, the TM writes the numbers one through three, two times, on pieces of paper and throws them in a hat. Each Inner Circle member draws a number and teams are formed, one and one is a team, two and two is a team, etc. Then each team makes out one dare/challenge/task for the other two teams. Then when all groups have a challenge for every opposing team they all exchange tasks and the game starts. In this case each team would be given a total of 2 challenges, one from each team. Team one would go first by choosing which challenge they will perform and attempt to do it correctly. The only real rule is that the TM gives a time limit for how long each task can last and the challenger (creator) of the task must also be willing to perform that task. If a team is unable to perform the task the challenger (creating team) can win by doing the task successfully. For example the TM has a 5 minute time limit on any given task, team 3 had challenged team 1 to completely burn a leaf in under 3 minutes. Team 1 attempted the task and won. Had team 1 failed, team 3 could have tried, and if they were successful they would have won. At the end, the team with the most wins has won the over all game. So it takes strategy to know the other teams’ weaknesses and your team’s strengths, having teams random mixes it up, but it is a super fun game.
Saturday morning came early again and we all geared up for the start of the official event. We arrived at the site and there were some last minute details that had to be taken care of but everything got done and stated within a reasonable time. The Twilight Lords, Nathan and Jess started off the event and we were ready to roll our first quest rather quickly. Karma bestowed upon us the Window of Dreams where Chaos was chosen and all that You Like was our Quest. Thug Jesus was the luck IC member to be chosen by Karma to choose our task which was run an obstacle course that he and others had built during the past few days of preparation. Prizes were given to male and female competitors, and everyone enjoyed their time.
A new event to the Alaskan wilderness was the Triskadecathalon, which was 13 events over 2 days with points awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers of each event. The winner would be crowned in the end and showered with gifts. The first events included a Tug-of-War, a 6 legged race, and a tight rope walk. The end of the Tug-of-War was something else and what a finish by DJ to win with a struggle. I do not straight up recall Round 2... I will post it later.
The Karmic Gift Exchange took place next, were many fresh items were randomly traded amongst those present. From what I do recall for sure, Thug Jesus was given a Magical Orb from Tall Jess, Big Cheddar was given some sort of Fungi from Nathan, Leatherface received a magical dream catcher from our one and only ouija, Nathan received a hemp neckless, Monica was given three dollars, the rest is sort of a blur. There was a throwing star given way, a few really nice knives, a $20 gift card, ciggys, penthouse matches, a Buddha statue, and many other gifts. The Horde also gave everyone there a copy of The Horde Collection, a very rare DVD of every Horde Show and Horde Show Trailer along with a Special Thanks to all those who attended.
The Gift Exchange was followed up by a pot-luck dinner and the Karmic Toast. Where upon all missing members of Listylvannia were mentioned, among those, but not limited to, Mutant 13, Batz, Hoy, Sydeshow, Overbill, Cricket, Trevor, All those in TN, Bubz the Troll, Ty, Oddy, Sugar, Bigtymer, Kittie, Circe, Rick, Jeff, Joe, all the rest from the FRO, and many many more. You were all highly missed but thought of during this highly Karmic event.
After dinner we then ventured out into a little town called Talkeetna, from where we are told 'Northern Exposure' was based on but not filmed at. Here the Inner Circle again gathered after a few bumps, someone broke down on the way, and we rolled Vision Quest Eye of the Needle. Here it is 11:00 something at night, sure the midnight sun is still up and shining, but we are remote and have nothing to sew with. We make do and call start time. Everyone gathers up everything they have and can spare and we put together a fashion show. The team of Scott, Monica, ouija, Brittany, and Rasha won. Ben or maybe D-Love might have been on our team too, but left with some Juggalos they met in the parking lot mid quest. We came up with the idea of a Rustic Modern Ninja in the Alaskan Wild. It was a Ranger Hat, think firefighter hat with goggles and all but no markings and yellow. With a burlap bag made into a shirt, a roll of duct tape as a bracelet, two belts used as chest sashes with a knife attached to one, yellow cargo pants, with a rope tied around the leg. Our model Scott schooled it and showed off all the tactics of a rustic modern Ninja in the Alaskan wild. It was pretty trippy. Another team went all natural and made a ladies cloths out of sticks and leaves they semi wove together; the other team took Thug Jesus' porn and turned it into a swim suit.
Once the quest ended we returned for the after party and to get down with our bad selves Alaskan style until early in the morning, 6 amish, only to then take a short nap before the coming of tomorrow's freshness.
Sunday morning came bright and early where upon the circle reformed and the round 3 of the Triskadecathalon was next, with Ear-to-Ear (like tug-of-war but only two people with their ears tied to each others), Ball Kick, and Log Roll. Round four was quickly followed with a shelter building competition, a fire building competition, something involving a large stuff bear and a potato cannon; then something else. The Horde members were at this point helping prepare for the feast so details are slim unless you want to know how to cook a full pig in the ground.
The Karmic Banquet started and the food was fantastic. It was awesome all around and every one ate till they were full and some of us drank till we were two sheets to the wind (ouija - Monica, I mean yall). With everyone full and ready for the next quest we headed into the woods where upon we saw an alligator attack a robot, then given a Florida Orange to the Circle of the N.E.W. Yes you did just see that in this post and that is the way it happened there, we are ready to roll and this fight just starts a few feet away from us between an alligator and a robot. The quest was rolled and we rolled Global Gurb, having time constraints put on the IC of doing this in 15 minutes we collected all sorts of flora and made Alaskan Tea. Hey for us lower 48ers (as we are called) it was exotic to us!
Upon the end of the quest prizes were given out the our winner DJ for winning the Triskadecathalon and all others who partook. Good byes were said and tear down started. Sure this is a very short summary of the event but it is only a bit of the picture, a general over view if you will. If you want to know more, well you should have just attended.
We do not want to give away too much information at one time here at The Horde, but we want yall to know, it was a mind blowing event with freshness that is not measurable. Much love and thanks to all those involved and all those who showed up. For those I did not yet mention, we have nothing but love for you and hope you feel the same way. Stay tuned for more fresh details about the adventure to Alaskarma and some of the news that was shared about upcoming Karmic Gatherings. The next of which will be in KC. No details yet, but soon after KC the Karmic Gatherings take a much needed turn and level up, we will not tell you more now, but know that the event in KC is go to or possibly miss out forever. Never fear there will be future K.G.s but just in a different way... come back soon and find out more!
